I bought the the online version for $50 and already bought the separate state filing at the beginning of the program and before filing I had to re-buy both things again, with no option to prove I already bought them. So now Turbo tax has double the money and I'm out an extra $60.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax Got the Job Done!

Taxes time is unpleasant, but TurboTax makes the job much easier than trying to file the old-fashioned way. I really feel sorry for other seniors who don't have a computer and have to rely on volunteer work or have to pay someone to do their taxes. TurboTax helps me fee that I'm more in control and not sharing personal information with people I don't really know that well.

Turbo Tax Every Year Since 1995

As a CPA, now retired, I typically just use the expert mode as I also maintain a spreadsheet all year with my exact income and tax liability that I use to verify whether the Turbo Tax calculations are accurate. Turbo Tax has always been correct for 25 years now.
