I would much prefer for Identity Protection PIN to be after the final review and before filing, so the user doesn't have to break away to track it down buried deep in the Federal Taxes > Other Tax Situations > Other Return Info page.
What's great about it: Enjoy ability of jumping between forms, worksheets, and interview.
What's not so great: Identity Protection PIN burried too deep.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Seems to get more complex each year

Major problem was with Schedule F. The expense catagories on TurboTax did not match those on Sch F. Made it much more difficult to enter data. Tax for was numbered and had more catagories than the TurboTax, which did not show any catagory number and had fewer catagories than the tax schedule. I don't understand why they did not match.
What's not so great: When I closed to work on something else I could not always select exactly where I want to restart

Easy and Fast

Program was straight forward to use. As long as you have all your tax documents, it only takes a few hours to do.
What's great about it: Once I had all my tax documents, it only took 4 hours to plug everything in and eFile.
What's not so great: None

The only way for me

I have used Turbo Tax since they bought out Parson's Personal Tax Edge, somewhere around 20+ years ago. I have never needed more than the basic version, despite having some investments. The auto import feature saves 2/3 of the time and takes tons of guess work out of Roll Over IRA trades. I will continue to use it as long as I have the ability to do my own tax.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: A little pricey for the Basic version

waste of money

Really felt like they tacked on so many fee this year, ended up costing over $200 just in turbo tax fees, could have had someone do my taxes for me. Also feel like everything is not well explained and there are things easily missed.

Dual Citizen living in Canada

Social security payments are taxed where you live, but there is no place to report this without it showing up as income. This affects the US tax calculation.
Also, there is no form 8833. It would be helpful to include this form in the product.

Hidden Fees

Hello,
First, there was no easy way to transfer from online filing to desktop filing, I had to scavenge online to find the answer. Second, there was no way for me to uncheck "save my information" when paying for the desktop version online. Third, in the desktop software I couldn't enter my full bank account number (the field only let me fill in 3 numbers). I also couldn't copy paste my routing and account number in, which is no big deal, but I thought I should mention that. Finally, There were two hidden fees that you were not up-front about when I bought your software. I wasn't aware that federal and state packages were different and that it was $50 more for state, then there was this ridiculous fee of ~$24.00 at the end for state (PA) filing, which I still have no idea what it was for. I understand that you aren't all bad, but I had a terrible experience using this software, I felt taken advantage of. If I'm paying this much for a software I would at least like fields and buttons to work as expected.

Very Easy to do taxes in a short time. 2-3 hours max for our taxes. Use for the all of the family.
