worker vs retired

on person with w2 it pulled info in easily. everything straight forward, however kept flagging w2 on retired persons with no W2s. kept reading as return error. Had to go back remove no w2 and re enter.
What's great about it: pulled w2 right in from employer
What's not so great: when doing retired person with no w2 kept taking me to review status in errors.

Turbotax is the best!

I have used turbotax for many years and have always found it to be easy and it steps you through everything. In their review of your return, it catches any errors or blanks and steps you through correcting them. I am on the yearly auto renewal and it is fantastic! This is the BEST tax software there is!
What's great about it: Easy and turbotax walks you through step by step
What's not so great: not a thing= all is great

Intuitive Program

This is the first time I have filed my tax return with software. It took me less time than going to the accountant's office at a fraction of the cost.
What's great about it: ease and clarity of use

Basic is good enough for me

Under the income side I had a 1099-Misc initally set up and I was on the "eFile" section when something made me go back and check it and even though it said it needed to be "Review" under the forms section the "Check" "Audit" and "Review" missed having me go back and address missing data. That would have cost me me as it gave me an extra $1200 credit back in a tax refund. Not cool.
What's great about it: quick import, easy to review, jump to sections
What's not so great: MISSED forcing me to look at a missing form

Been using turbo tax for years ( I have had one job all this time) so putting in my info and having it done makes me able to do it in a hour.
What's great about it: I just had to type in my info and the program did the rest.
What's not so great: non that i can think of.

Several issues....Each time I tried to edit an income item I had to go through the questions about disaster relief which was a huge pain.
Also, could not re-access the RMD portion where it asks for a deferment until it went to the check for errors section and I had to manually change.
