Always Useful

I have used Turbo Tax for well over a dozen years and always can finish in a few hours despite having some fairly complicated situations to my taxes. Good product.
What's great about it: Quick yet detailed
What's not so great: None really
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Not effecting this return but another one I need to do. Form 2210. I realize IRS made a mistake on line 6 but if you read the instructions for line 6 it specifically says to add estimated taxes to amount withheld. Someone needs to resolve this issue before many, many returns need to be mailed rather than e-filed.

For years I did my taxes the manual way and made some mistakes that lost money. Now for four years I'm sure I have it done correctly with no wories at all. Thanks.
What's great about it: so much better than doing it longhand and making mistakes.
What's not so great: always asks about farm income when I don't have a farm

Turbo Tax -- Clearly the best

I have used Turbo Tax products both the online and offline versions for the last 10 years. The few times I dabbled with other programs I have been very sorry that I did.
What's great about it: Excellent easy to use/understand interface
What's not so great: minimal

Overall good program. it sometimes will not accept a change in response on auto filled boxes. program anticipates responses instead of allowing you to choose .
What's great about it: ease of data entry
What's not so great: lag in change of type data entry

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have found it to be the best of the ones that I have tried. I will continue using next year unless the government does away with taxes which I seriously doubt.

Tax return experience

This is the third time I use TurboTax. There are some things that I would have improved:
1) It was not possible to import a CSV file in order to aid me in my cryptocurrency filings. Error messages kept being shown.
2) It was not possible to import .TXF files on the web version either.
Reading through the TurboTax Help Blog, I was able to find a solution to my problem, which saved me hours of manually entering 100+ transaction information. By downloading the TurboTax software I was able to import my .TXF file.
Overall the software is good, however given the surge in crypto investors I'd suggest TurboTax to fix the .CSV file extension import feature on the Web version and also allow .TXF imports.
