So Easy and Well Explained.....

I have been using Turbo Tax for quite some time now, and I have nothing but good to say about them. The filing is well explained and best of all they guide you and provide reference if needed along the way!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I trust Turbo Tax - have been using it for close to 10 years now, I believe. Simple, and pretty much, easy to use. Some things confuse me a bit, but most are pretty straight ahead. Thank you, Turbo Tax.

Nightmare!

After I had paid $50 for the Basic software, then another $45 to download my state, then another $25 to pay my state return online, I kept getting told I would have to print and mail everything if I didn't answers questions to a Schedule C. I had two entries of 1099-MISC, like I have had many years prior for random gigs that insist on paying me but by no means am I business. I only had $2100 from 1099-MISC but I had to give a business name, address, and a whole lot of other answers to which I had no clue how to answer. I hope the IRS enjoys "I DONT HAVE A BUSINESS".

I've used Turbo Tax since it was introduced I think. It just keeps getting better and better. This year was the easiest experience I've had and I have a complicated return.

Why I'm quitting Turbo Tax

I've used Turbo Tax for years but this will be my last. It used to be user friendly and helpful. Not anymore. I am stuck with paying $39.95 for Tax Audit although I swear I did not click on it and cannot get to the filing of my taxes without paying. They are also discontinuing my being able to keep my Windows 7 which I like far better than 10.

I've used Turbotax for decades. Being able to see data from prior years is helpful and saving names and addresses is a big timesaver. Helpful tips and answers are right at the point I need to know them!
