Great Program but not helpful for a few exceptions

I love how easy it is to go through the questions and get the forms efiled. I just have one complaint. The social security number should also allow the person to enter NRA allowing that situation to also e-file. Living in a foreign country we had difficulty filing for my American friend who has a Brazilian husband.

K-1 Nightmares Continue

Inputting Schedule K-1 form 1041 data into tax return was easy, but answering Turbo's questions was a nightmare. It seems to get more complicated year to year. I would have liked to have seen some improvement from last year. Keep in mind the vast majority of Turbo Tax users are not CPAs.

I didn't get my TTAdvantage this year, had to buy it Cost more. When installed it said only works on Woin10., so = new computer.
After that had to purchase a CA sate program. Finally as able to start my taxes. on state it kept looping in the review area. wen to FILE and got me done. I signed up for Advange this year and it told TTDeluxe was 69.00. when I got it wanted to pay 79.00 WHAT? got out before I bought anything. Got to call them again. I'm tired.

Stop it with the shameless prompting for state tax

Really like turbotax no need to change to another package. It gets the job done. Some redundancy when you do the tax prep in several sessions and then review. But a good tool. Please try to improve what seems like a loop created with entry of Roth and IRA cost basis
