Poor workmanship

I bought these headphones when my old ones broke. I was excited at first as the audio quality when listening to music is outstanding. Then Monday rolled around and I needed to use these headphones for their main purpose- online meetings.
These bluetooth headphones come with a mic and a hands-free mode intended for using the mic and earphones at the same time. However, the audio quality is abysmal, quite literally impossible to understand anything that is said, as it really is little more than distorted static.
After much research online, I have found that this is a known problem with this model of jbl headphones. I did not buy a dud pair, the model is a dud. From what I have seen online, JBL has known about this issue since 2016 and have decided to do absolutely nothing about it.
Hopefully, I can get a refund for these useless headphones, otherwise I've wasted a lot of money on a brand that I used to regard as high quality. Very dissapointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're sorry to hear about what happened. here are some troubleshooting steps for us to check your JBL Tune 500BT:
1. Please try using a different music player and if you're using an equalizer, turn it off.
2. Try pairing the headphones to a different source ex. (phone,tablet) for us to check if the headphones will have sound using a different device.
If steps 1-2 didn't work, you can also reset the headphones: Long Press of volume + and volume - at the same time while the unit is on. Make sure that Bluetooth is NOT on and connected to any device. When reseting, LED will blink faster.

Mic doesn’t work properly

I bought this January 2,2020 and the other side cant hear me properly. I have to lift the earphones a little bit from my ears then thats the time they will hear my voice. By the way it is so fit it hurts a little on the first few times i use

NOT working with Teams

Very comfortable ... but the headphones don't work properly with Team. When connection with the hands-free function, all you can hear is a robotic sound. JBL is aware about that... this is about time JBL and Microsoft fix this major problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great headphones

I bought these a while back and they still perfect, But the only thing that sucks about them is the mic, I would recommend the wired ones (Tune 500) if you wanna use the mic, but they still have a great sound perfect bass on them
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Headphones

I bought these heaphones about 6 months ago, very durable, had two issues: - pairing with two devices in parallel ( expecially during a call on one of the devices the call would start to stutter and stops only when i disconnect the other device ) - app equilizer, when set to "Bass" distorts the sound, basically unusable
BUT last week i changed my phone from a Xiaomi Mi 9T to iPhone SE and both issues are over - connection to both devices are now steady with no interferences - equilizer not distorting the sound anymore
Looks like issue was from MIUI 12 (Xiaomi's modified Android version)
So now there is no issues, battery is solid, ambient aware modes are very usefull, Google assistant touch is annoying (can be turned off from the app )

I have had them since December and now suddenly I am have audio problems with the one ear being louder than the other. If anyone know how to fix please let me know
