[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I purchased the range, I asked what the "melt" burners were and was told they were just small burners suitable for melting butter and chocolate. I later found out that they do not heat any higher than the temp to melt butter. Why put 2 of them on the stove top - I really can't use either burner and feel like they are big waste of money and I really overpaid for the stove. next time i will look up the info myself. That being said the oven works great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as expected

Just purchased new appliances for my kitchen and went with the Whirlpool brand this time around. This was the stove model I chose and when delivered yesterday I discovered that it doesn't have casters to wheel the stove in and out for regular cleaning. Didn't think you could buy a range this day an age without casters! It's like buying a car today and discovering upon delivery that it doesn't have a radio. Shame on you Whirlpool for cheaping out on this model! Honestly, how much more would it cost to make to have put caster's on this range?
