[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works, but this is the second electric range I have used and it is still sort of foreign to me. I tried to boil water in a tea kettle and I've always thought that if the heat extends passed the pot or pan you're using it is wasted heat so I used the smaller burner. After 5 minutes it still wasn't making any sort of sound that would indicate it was heating up, so I slightly moved it trying to center it. It started making a sound as if there was water between the kettle and the burner and when I checked there was nothing. So I decided to go get the laundry out of the dryer and almost immediately the kettle strated going off like crazy. This is not a reflection of the stove/oven as it clearly works but getting used to it is going to be a journey.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tough as Nails

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first new stove. Was cooking Butter Scott pie filling, which boiled over all over the place!
But was able to clean the surface without scratching the top burner.
That’s one tough appliance.
The top also heats up immediately which also allows for less time cooking and more time eating.

Owners manual doesn't include using instructions

The owners manual doesn't include instructions on how to use the timing settings. It doesn't have a lot of buttons, but its complicated to set timing. To find the model number you have to open the very bottom drawer and get way down on the floor to try and find it. The model number should be on the top oven door! Never buying another whirlpool product again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works perfectly fine. I am new to the flattop stove, getting used to heat up time, etc. Find cleaning easier than the bowls of a regular electric stovetop, but need to find something that cleans it better.
