New stove x almost 2 weeks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this stove a couple of months ago, because it was in Calgary, only 1week from Regina. Anything else we could find, was at least 2-3 months delivery time. The stove is not built very well, compared to our previous stove which was close to 40 years old. The tin is so thin, it feels like it is going to bend when you touch it.
I am also not impressed with the glass top. Every one said it was going to be so much easier to keep clean. It is not. It looks nice when clean, But it needs to be cleaned everyday, and spills don't just wipe up. You need to use special scrapers, and cleaning products to get anything off, including water stains. Not specific to this stove, but we could not find one with two 120 volt outlets on the face of the control panel. Our old stove had these, and we really miss them. (Our old stove was a Kenmore.) We were looking for a stove with a meat thermometer in the oven. This one does not have one. It does not look like it can be added at this time.
The pot drawer does not slide in and out very easily, and comes out of the tracking rail too easily. This is primarily because it it stamped out of too flimsy material.
Otherwise, this stove cooks very nicely. The temperature in the oven is accurate. It also seems like the heat is better controlled on the stove top and heats up more quickly.
