Some things should be changed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im not used to the dual burner yet. I burned a lot of pancakes on Saturday because I had the small burner on high and didn't realize it. That's not the range's fault. My main issue with the range is the shiny black top. Its hard to get that shiny look unless you wipe it down and then hand dry it with a dry paper towel or dish towel I wish that I had gotten one that had a speckled look, then I wouldn't see the smudges or streaks as much. I would like to speak to someone on how to get/keep that shiny black look. Also, the timer is much too soft. It needs to be LOUDER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to replace my built-in range top and oven with a regular range/oven combo. I am not a fancy cook, so this range meets all of my simple needs and it is nice to have all the controls up and out of the way of little fingers.
