Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a new build home and it came with the Whirlpool range. I love this range. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because we work 10 hour days and it will not let me delay start over 9 hours. I need that extra hour so the food doesn't burn

Think Twice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second Whirlpool appliance that I have purchased that I am very disappointed with. Unfortunately, an appliance isn't like a pair of shoes that one can easily exchange if one is unhappy. We're stuck with it! On the plus side, the oven does work very well, but I question why the bottom of the oven is "bowl shaped" rather than flat like most other ovens. The burners are very slow to heat up and virtually useless on any setting below medium. I never knew it could take so long to boil a pot of water! The digital display is so small that only clock time, oven temperature or timer is displayed at one time! Once the oven is turned on, the clock time disappears! How ridiculous! Even though someone may be baking something in the oven, they still may need to know the time for something they are cooking on a burner. There is no light on the stove top. Oh, yes, the range supposedly has "Frozen Bake technology" and even though there are buttons for "pizza" and "lasagna", nothing in the owner's manual explains what amounts or sizes or cooking times are used!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Heating element of the oven exploded

The broil feature is really odd

This is the first stove in forty years that the oven door has to be closed to use the broil feature..and every time you open the door to check what your broiling it turns the broiler off…
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
