We noticed the beer in the old fridge wasn't as cold as we liked, even at the coldest setting... but the freezer still 'froze' stuff. Figured the old 20 year old fridge had seen better days.
This new GE fridge seems to be doing a great job with the beer and has considerably more space inside... so we are very happy with this product.

When you shut the fridge door the freezer door opens. And if you shut the fridge door without holding it, it can open without you knowing as ours is in the garage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Selected for 2nd home where space was limited. It's well organized with adjustable glass shelves, but would have liked to be able to add an ice-maker.
