The size of the refrigerator is great. I can get alot in the freezer section also. Love the glass shelves and the placement of the shelves and bins. Only thing I didn't like was the door shelves have opening between the bottom and front sides. Things can slide out through the opening.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very disappointed with my new GE Refrigerator

My new refrigerator Model #gts18hyngrfs is barely a week old and I am really unhappy. The inside of the refrigerator is not cold enough and there is ice build-up in the freezer and the refrigerator. I tried to reach GE today and after quite a few tries, was told the office was closed. This is not what I expected. I tried to add photos to this review but the link is not working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just got this refrigerator today, it's so loud. Not sure it supposed to be that loud or it has problem already. Unhappy about the purchase.

Because of newer technology and added features, newer model refrigerators can sound a bit different than the older models you might be used to. You may hear clicking, whirring and humming, amongst other sounds. Loud!

I didn't purchase the product, but dealing with it is still a chore. The unit hums loud enough to hear across the house and in other rooms. This was never a problem with other refrigerators of comparable price, and yet the product is said to functioning normally, and the noise is part and parcel. On a side note, the LED light is very bad compared to a traditional bulb (imagine having your fridge being lit by a bug zapper). Please do not buy this low quality product.

Perfect refrigerator with no frills attached.

This refrigerator is just perfect for my older style single home and kitchen. In fact, I highly recommended a similar GE refrigerator to a close friend of mine who bought a slightly smaller model very similar to mine for his smaller old home kitchen. He is happy as well with his new GE refrigerator!
