Great replacement!

We lost 2 refrigerators in a week! Thanks to GE and local merchant we had a replacement for one in 4 hours! Even though it is smaller, it holds all the previous foods in fridge and freezer!

The door storage shelves use up too much interior room and the glass shelves seem small and weak. The freezer glass shelf seems weak and has a large gap at the rear allowing small items to tilt or fall through. Only five temperature positions and only one control for both the freezer and refrigerator. This will be the last time I make a major purchase on-line.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Features for Seniors

Great design of butter and deli drawers. Keeps food cold in refrigerator frozen in freezer. Perfect size for seniors to move into the house without outside help. Also easy to clean shelves and drawer units. Love it!!!

What a great, roomy fridge!

After some less than great experiences with GE, I almost gave up on the, but needed a new refrigerator quickly and this was in stock at my nearby appliance store. I bit the bullet and am so glad I did. It is surprisingly very well designed with lots of storage even on the door. I think it is the nicest appliance I've ever purchased over the years -- bravo, GE!
