Great for a basic refrigerator

This GE refrigerator offers ample capacity for our family of four's needs. It has a beautiful design inside and out. It also keeps everything very cold. The optional icemaker however takes forever to make ice and the cubes are pretty small.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of space

I got this as a replacement fridge for a French door I had for probably 15 years. I didn’t want to go into debt for a large one so I figured I’d keep this for a year or so then move it into the garage. So glad it’s garage ready. I was really worried about the capacity since the configuration is drastically different. But I think it will work. Where my old one had shelves this one has a lot of space for those tall bottles I always had to lay down. I’m even more excited for when it goes into the garage because the layout is great for what I have planned.

I really like this refrigerator. It’s doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that some other refrigerators might have, but that’s why I purchased it. I wanted a basic refrigerator that had the possibility of outlasting the majority that only last 6-8 years. I purchased two and put them next to each other, so it’s sort of one giant refrigerator. The cost is less than one that has a lot of features, and I have approximately 7 cubic feet of storage more than others. I’m very happy with my purchase.

This smallish refrigerator is performing well, after 8 days since purchase. quiet operation and easy to clean surface. Freezer get very cold, I'll be purchasing thermometer for each section, curious to see how cold bottom section gets. I down sized as household size changed and old french door model was 13 years old. Donated to a shelter .
