Too noisy!

The noise, when the refrigerator is defrosting, ( I’m guessing it’s defrosting) sounds like an engine of a lawn mower; so loud that I have to turn the sound level of my kitchen TV louder because the refrigerator drowns out the audio of the TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Though it's only a day old, I can tell you that this fridge is very quiet and cools down quickly. The shelves and slide out bins are well placed and make for efficient storage. The door shelves are nice sized and a gallon of milk fits easily in the top one. I also like the slick and shiny paint on the exterior. I am looking forward to many years of energy efficient refrigeration from this new GE fridge.

Only using 86 watts when compressor is running

My old fridge used 177 watts when the compressor was running My new GE is only using 86 watts that is going to add up to big savings in energy.

Perfect size for my space! My kitchen is kind of small. I didn’t think it would fit. This refrigerator was perfect for the space I had and it works. Great don’t turn it up all the way because your stuff will freeze

My new refrigerator is used as a second (overflow) refrigerator but I love it! Its capacity is quite good for its size and it is easy to manipulate any shelves to work for my needs. So far, so good.
