Fit Our Needs Perfectly

This is an outstanding refrigerator for what it is. I had difficulty finding a refrigerator that fit the dimensions for the space I had. This unit fit the bill perfectly. The LED lighting inside went way beyond my expectations, and it truly lights up all of the inside of the lower part of the refrigerator. The fact that the door swing could be reversed was another important necessity in my case and was also a deciding factor in my purchase. The door compartments are meaningfully thought out and there is plenty of room for just my wife and I. The adjustable glass shelves also are a plus.
Larger families might want to consider a bigger unit, but for us, this was a perfect replacement. Now I just hope it will outlast our previous refrigerator, which lasted 14 years.

Solid and well built

So far so good. The fridge was delivered in excellent shape and the temp stays at -5 freezer and 34 fridge when set at 3.5. The stainless steel model is a welcoming sight after our 30 year old white Kenmore wore out. The new GE fridge seems really solid and well built. It is narrower and has less depth while keeping nearly the same capacity of our old one is nice. I probably would feel more comfort if the freezer had a wire rack instead of glass but not a deal breaker as we never needed one and we kept the small rack from our old one just in case we break the new one. The built in led light is protected and saves space. The only downside is maybe replacing the light if ever needed.

Nice size

We had a propane/electric refrigerator as we lived off grid for over 25 years. That refrigerator was silent, so getting use to a refrigerator that comes on every hour and runs for a half an hour is hard to get use to. We live in the middle of the woods so noise is not something we experience. The refrigerator is roomy and easy to organize. It has a nice size freezer. We just wish it was at least quieter when it runs.
