Always buy GE, just don't remember ever having shipping plastic so difficult to remove from door. Still inbedded under door rubber gasket.

I like it so far. I have had it 2 weeks only. I had my old roper refrigerator 22 years. This white GE has glass salves, and has a better designed cooling system. It also doesn't freeze food stored way back!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just delivered today, but so far it’s really cold, hoping refrigerator doesn’t freeze food and drinks. Crossing fingers, have heard many bad stories, hope mine doesn’t n become one.

Great refrigerator/freezer for my "bonus room" -- to handle overflow food and drinks especially for entertaining friends & family. Perfect size as a second refrigerator/freezer for my household!

Plastic Wrap

The refrige is nice looking and I like the bright led interior light. Our choice in the appliance was limited due to space concerns. It was delivered and set up by the retailer. They did not remove the protective plastic wrap from the product. It was a cold day and we were told they could not remove the wrap as it would just tear due to being cold. We were told it would come off easily after it warmed up. It didn't! It appears GE puts the wrap on the stainless steel parts before assembling the product. This causes it to tear off unevenly and leave raggedy pieces of it up and down the edges of the doors and around the handles. This caused my wife and I, who are elderly, to spend hours crawling around on the floor, picking the torn plastic wrap pieces off the new product that we paid a lot of money for. I am not pleased. It would seem to me that a giant company like GE could find a better way to protect the stainless parts or at least don't install the wrap before assembly.
