Works like a charm

Amazing fridge - everything just works. The shelves are well thought through to be able to store different item sizes, never had to defrost the freezer, the white coating is smudge free. Keeps your food and beverages cold and fresh.

It's louder than my old fridge. But other than that, it works and matches my stove.

Response from geappliances.comBy Kelsey@GEA, GE_Appliances, January 13, 2022
Hello there - We're so glad to hear that your new refrigerator is working well and that it looks beautiful in your space. We do apologize, though, that it is louder than your previous refrigerator. We know how discouraging this can be.
Newer refrigerators sound different from older refrigerators, as modern refrigerators have more features and use newer technology. Perhaps you'd like to review the normal operating sounds for this refrigerator on page 19 of the owner's manual, to rule out any potential issues: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000478-2.pdf.
We hope this information is helpful! Let us know if you have any questions or concerns in the future - we're right here when you need us. Best, Kelsey@GEA

I had a side by side and wanted a one door and full shelving . Just 2 of us and not a lot of company. In 20 years appliances have really changed. Just did not like what I had or what they are selling . Just the right size
