When my refrigerator suddenly died I bought a cheap refrigerator because vwe are moving shortly to a new house that will include a refrigerator. Thankfully this will be in the garage. It is has linited space in both compartments and is the noisiest refrigerator we have ever had. The price is right and you get what you pay for.
This was a "must buy." If this one lasts 41 years as did the old harvest gold ugly Hotpoint did, I will be happy. Wanted another box that gets cold, and doesn't bake cakes, mix batter or take pictures! Just a good plain refrigerator, without frills, even without icemaker!
I love the gallon jug door storage, but miss the egg trays in the door.
The four stars is only because the door of the freezer swings open so far that I had to take everything off a part of the shelve between my kitchen and dining room. Otherwise I'm so happy with this unit. The freezer holds so much and everything is really frozen...and the refrigerator also holds more than I would have expected. I also love the meat & dairy and vegetable & fruit bins. And I love the tempered glass (or plastic - I can't tell)shelves instead of the covered plastic grated shelves in my old refrigerator; speaking of which - I had it for four years and had to duct tape the freezer door closed and everything in the refrigerator was seldom very cold and everything in the freezer would thaw and refreeze at least once a day.
