Had the unit4 months and noticed frost inside the freezer door. The gasket has crimped and you can see light coming thru when I put a flashlight in the freezer. Poor quality control. Will need a repair after 4 months

Hi there, and thanks for contacting us. We truly hate to hear you’ve had an issue with frost, and believe there’s a problem with the gasket. That certainly isn’t the performance we would expect – we know this must be frustrating, especially as your refrigerator is still new. Notice of the trouble you’ve had will be sent to or team for review.
An issue with the gasket can indeed result in frost in the freezer. This model does actually feature easily removable door gaskets – if the gasket has not actually ripped, you may be able to adjust it and resolve this issue. We have more information on the easy to remove gaskets, and how to possibly adjust your gasket to resolve this kind of issue, in an article on our website: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18300&_ .
If you’re unable to solve this concern using that information you can take advantage of your warranty. Information on that is available on page 21 of the manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000478-2.pdf&_ . Our service department can be reached at 1-800-432-2737 or online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm .
We hope this helps. If you have any other concerns or questions, we’re glad to offer assistance any time. -Sarah@GEA
Had to have the freezer fan motor replaced after a couple of weeks after we purchased the refrigerator, after a couple of months it getting louder, so… The compressor is very noisy and irritating. Our next purchase will defiantly not be made by GE or any of its sister companies.

Hello - While we're glad to see you enjoy the appearance and features of your new refrigerator, we're sorry to hear that the unit is very noisy after the fan motor was replaced a few months ago. We understand how disappointing that would be, and we genuinely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
The normal operation of your refrigerator will cause some sound or noise. If you are concerned about a sound or noise, you can check the following troubleshooting link to determine if it is a normal or unusual sound: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17473&_ga.
We hope this helps! Please know that we're always here if you have any questions or concerns. We hope you will consider purchasing GE Appliances in the future and allow us the opportunity to regain your faith in our products. We wish you the very best!
