Poor freezing

I brought this refrigerator and the freezer does not freeze ice cream very well. You have to turn up the controls but the then the liquids freeze in the refrigerator

The door does not close- no magnetic strip. So every time you close it, you have to check that it actually closed. There is no separate control for the freezer.

I needed a smaller refrigerator because I live alone and don't cook much anymore. I also do not need an ice maker. I really do love my new refrigerator.
