Noisy refrigerator - Runs on the hot side

Refrigerator runs hot (had to turn the temp control up, against installer advise to keep at midpoint) and is very noisy and rattling. My old 12 year old frig ran better !

After buying two GE Profile Dishwashers, a stove, and two GE refrigerators, I think that buying any future GE product is out of the question!
We have had this poor quality refrigerator for a week now and as a direct result of poor construction, we have not been able to lower the temperature to the recommended at or below 40 degrees.
The fact that the door is cold to the touch is a clear indication of how poorly made this product really is. Really? You can't insulate your products better than this? Really? In 2019, GE still can't make an energy efficient product that actually keeps food at a safe temperature?
As mentioned above, this is not the first GE Product... but I can promise that it is the last one - the quality just isn't there!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The refrigerator we just bought is low line basic model; however, we've purchased GE products (washing machines, stoves, driers, etc.) over the years and had fantastic luck with them. I know even this refrigerator will serve us well.

Plenty of room inside this refrigerator. I like the textured finish that is on the outside as it is easier to clean. The only drawback that I found is there is no light in the freezer section and I did not notice that when I purchased it. Might have purchased another model if I had been aware of this.

Good Value Fridge

Had the refrigerator for a couple of months now and it's working perfectly well. Bought as a secondary fridge for our basement, and is exactly what we were looking for. Not a ton of frills or features, but doesn't make much noise and is a good value for the price. Would think it could work sufficiently as a primary or secondary refrigerator in many households.
I would recommend this to a friend!
