Love the price and room inside the frig. However, it seems to run all the time even when it is full. It is noisy when it runs but not loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sized to fit

Location limited our choices, and our old refrigerator was 12 years old and starting to make rumbling noise when the compressor went on and off, so we decided to replace it. The space for the refrigerator limited the refrigerator size, and a refrigerator the same size was available from the same manufacturer. The refrigerator came in two capacities: 15.5 cf and 17.5 cf and the same price. We purchased the larger refrigerator and checked the dimensions: the exact same dimensions as our old refrigerator.

Down Sized was an Upgrade!

We loved our previous GE refrigerator and used its specs to select a new one. We went from a 17.9 down to a 17.5, but gained a lot of door storage space and are very pleased that everything is working wonderfully!
