for only losing 1 cubic foot compared to old 1,I do not like the layout @ all. Shelves on door are too deep. You cannot stand up a 12oz water bottle in freezer,& freezer gets louder & times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with your refrigerator's shelf depth. If you would like, you should be able to remove the shelf inside of your top freezer. This way, you would be able to stand various things upright, like bottles of water for instance.

Peace of mind having 2nd fridge

My kitchen fridge stopped working and I lost a freezer full of food along with all the refrigerated food. I replaced it with a french door GE fridge that I am pleased with. I bought this simple top freezer fridge to put in the garage as a back up. So far, so good. Works great and I have peace of mind!

LOVE MY NEW GE FRIDGE

I NEEDED A REFRIGERATOR THAT WASN'T TOO BIG AND THIS ONE WAS PERFECT FOR MY SPACE. IT HAS PLENTY OF ROOM INSIDE WITH TWO NICE VEGETABLE DRAWERS WITH TEMPERATURE CONTROL. IT ALSO HAS A DRAWER FOR SMALLER ITEMS LIKE CHEESE, LUNCH MEAT, ETC. I REALLY LOVE THIS FRIDGE.
