Very Noisy

This unit is very loud while operating. It sounds poorly constructed. My butter dish will not fit in the compartment. I had a similar GE model that this replaced. In eight years, GE's quality has gone down substantially.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just what seniors want! A fridge not fluff!

This is what I wanted. This style fridge serves me best. Side by side will not hold a frozen pizza, my grandson’s favorite. The newer styles offer too much fluff. I want a fridge not a knock knock joke. Lol Wish the came with an ice maker already installed. My dealer came through when my last GE quit. We caught it walking across the kitchen floor sounding like a grumpy monster. Lol We are back to good night

Great ice maker and very adjustable temp controls for the two drawers at the bottom. Works great and keeps everything fresh and cold.

Freezer coldness inadequate

I had to have the cheapest refrigerator, so I could make payments. I got too small of one I found out. I have to use the "coldest" setting to keep my ice cream half frozen. I'm not happy at all with the freezer. This is not a good buy for me.
