Horrible in every aspect

Shelving 0
Capacity sucks maybe for 2 people at most
Temperature 0. No matter what it freezes vegetables
Horrible refrigerator
It’s purchased by cheap apartment complexes
If you don’t cook it’s the cheap fridge you want.
I’d have it as a second fridge for water and canned goods.

GIE 18GSNRSS Has Several Deficiencies

Bottom line - the refrigerator is too noisy, and the ice maker is too noisy. Also, no light in freezer is reduces practical functionality. Further, temperature adjustment provides only a few settings to obtain correct refrigerator temperature. I had read that it was noisy, but didn't imagine it would be this noisier than the 20 year old whirlpool refrigerator that is replaced. My work is disrupted each time refrigerator or ice maker comes on. Not a good value for the price, although it does seem that all refrigerators in this price range have deficiencies. Capacity, configuration, and shelving are all good. I will think twice before buying GE again.

I love the shelving on the side of the door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First small refrigerator holds quite a bit. The Sheldon on the doors are double wide so you don’t have to store things in the center of the refrigerator whereas you can put better things like desserts, fruit, etc. the freezer has an area for ice cubes and even comes with an ice cube holder, great in the summertime.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's laid out well

I like the arrangement of the shelves. The shelves and interior are roomy enough gor me but not necessarily a family of 4. It makes for easy cleaning. The only downside is the freezer is a bit small even for me. It also does not make a loud sound, quite quiet. Produces ice well but the ice maker does lessen space.
I would recommend this to a friend!
