Good indoor camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This indoor camera works great for keeping an eye on things, we have it set up in our living room. I like being able to keep an eye on what my kids are doing when I am busy working in my office. The app and camera are very easy to set up, there were a few hiccups with the WiFi connecting, I did a reset and it worked fine after that. You can adjust the activity notifications, at first it was going off constantly since it is such a high traffic area, so I just turned them off and view when needed. The picture quality is nice and clear, the sound is clear also. There is a bit of a lag, I'd say 5-10 seconds. All in all it is a great camera and does what it is supposed to do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

easy view on the app.
the app does not automatically detect the wifi network and for some reason have to enter the wifi password twice. of late i cannot see the recordings. i had to return 2 of these before as one did not conenct after the app update and got buggered, one randomly would not connected after a power outage. The app need some more work. customer service is good. I have used. I will be receivinga call soon re the missing recording

If you are having problems streaming you can lower the settings and test to see if it improves. Note that lowering the stream settings does not affect the quality of the recordings. If you have very fast upload speeds you can set your camera to high, but if your upload speed is not that good then we recommend you use medium or low for the streaming setting. Please know that our development team will continue to launch updates to the application in order to improve your experience. It was great at first......

We purchased 2 of these cameras to keep an eye on our dogs while at work. The whole install thing was great - super easy. However, we never got the 2-way speaker (talk and listen) to work. The quality of the words (speaking) coming out was terrible, couldn't make out what the person was saying. It wasn't a big deal - just annoying that it didn't work. The app downloaded well, and was good to use for the first few months. It logged out often requiring a p/w 5 out of 10 times to see the cameras. We have now moved to a new house and we cant use the cameras - apparently the software is not compatible with 5G. I am hoping there is a quick fix for this, not excited about potentially having to purchase another product after only having them for 10 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow for such a little guy this magnificent Swann 1080p Alert Indoor Security Camera is truly amazing and can do just about anything to make feel safer . It's can be a baby monitor , it has night vision, 2 way speaker , wireless networking ,siren and audio Analytics , amazing right . It's easy to set up and use . It's cool because you can say it on a table mount on a wall very convenient no matter where you actually put it . The sound is very clear , as well as the pictures or video . We really like it and find it quite useable and gives a nice sense of relief to know I can watch my house, family and let's closer and feel good about it . Full 1080p HD, to get the best pictures. True Detect ,meaning it can detect heat, motion, and person sending for realistic alerts . Wide viewing too 110" angle reduces blind spots . Lots and lots of benefits to own this Swann Alert Indoor Security Camera. . So happy with it and it will last for many years to.come . Definitely recommend my family and friends to get this it's does so many things and it's adorable and don't take up a lot up of space . A win win all the way round .

Amazing Indoor Security Camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been searching for an indoor security camera that has the capability to have night vision and 2 way audio. I was so happy to find it in Swann's 1080p Alert Indoor Security Camera! Not many people think about getting the inside of their home secure with security camera's, but they come in great use. Especially if someone takes your outdoor ones without being seen. I love that this has heat & motion sensing. It was a huge plus that it works with Alexa and Google Assistant! I am already adding more to my cart to make sure I have a secure home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the land of home security cameras, there is no shortage of options out there. To be a good option in this market it either needs to be really good or inexpensive. This camera falls a bit short in both of those categories.
Installation is quick and easy using the QR code to pair it to your app. The app (Android) is a bit clunky. I takes several failed attempts to view an individual camera and for some reason defaults the camera to Low quality and "Outdoor" settings even though this is only meant to be used indoors.
After switching images quality to max, you start to get the advertised "1080P" video quality. In the app, the video feed remains a bit blocky and pixelated but the recordings seems to be a bit cleaner. Overall the video quality is okay, but there is certainly better out there. The sounds quality is okay as well. 2-way audio is usable. The notifications seems to come through pretty quickly, but you will definitely want to tweak the settings to your liking.
Overall the camera is okay. Unless you are already heavily invested in to the Swann ecosystem, there are much better values out there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Swann 1080p Alert Indoor Security Camera is great for keeping an eye on things, so easy to set up, has a HD Video quality, to hear and see no matter wherever you are, you’re still at home keeping an eye on things, including kids and pets!
I love that it has a wide angle range of viewing, and it’s light weight, also portable for any changes of monitoring, it’s great keeping informed!
