Compulsory WiFi pairing lets this camera down

Overall the camera has some great features. Being able to set parameters on alarms, noise, floodlight etc are all great. However it HAS to be 'paired' with local WiFi - even if you've connected it direct to your routed via ethernet cable.
So if you have a small power cut you then loose all connection to that camera until you can go and do the 'pairing' routine again. This is a BIG failing of the product.
