Great stand alone camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this security camera for over a week and I love it. This is a stand alone camera, meaning you don't need any additional equipment which is a plus. And all the necessary plugs and wires are included for basic install. And I love that they offer FREE 7- day recording unlike most outdoor cameras. And this camera has heat sensing, 2 way talk and a siren. But I do wish that the siren was louder. And another plus, it's HD quality. And it's a simple install/hookup through wifi on their app.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Camera’s are good but Swann security app seems to have problems

Bought 3 months ago. Cameras work fine but I cannot view playback on Swann security app. Cameras are only good for live viewing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Security

Takes really good video day and night, love that’s it’s motion activated as well! Being weather proof is great as well! Love being able to watch my home from my phone while I’m away makes my life easier.

Great Security Camera

The security camera was easy to set up and install. It shows clear pictures and has great sound. I now have a piece of mind with this new security camera.

Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a lot of pros for the Swann 1080p Spotlight Outdoor Security Camera. The main pro is the 1080p HD quality. This camera at night has color pictures not black and white like most do. That's amazing! Its weather proof and that a plus, since it is outside all them time. It is very sensitive with the spot light. I really had to turn down my settings because if the wind blow it set it off. But I also loved that spotlight for instance if i forgot to turn on the porch light when i was away it would automatically since someone was there (me) and turn on a light so i could get in my house. Also in turn if someone is trying to break in my house they are also spotlight and alerted on my phone. So cons i had was the download to my phone was a little tricky. Downloading the app was no problem but trying to pair the camera with my wifi took a few times to get it right. Also all the how to, trouble shooting is only in the app. There is a book that comes with the camera but its just a quick start guide. For some people like myself i like a book to refer to for issues. It is also wired and not wireless so that gets a little tricky finding a spot with plug ins and such to mount it. I do like that it holds your recordings for seven days. But any longer you need a subscription. I really do like the app because i can check on my house from work or anywhere really and if someone is at my door while i'm gone I can also talk to them on the 2-way audio feature. I really love getting to use this camera.

Easy setup and great picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The camera was easy to set up after you run the wires. It’s best if you have the appropriate wiring and plugs in place already. The set up process was easy and self explanatory. The picture is clear. I really like having the LED light and it’s a nice feature for the night. We had a number of break-ins in our area and just having the camera visible will deter the intruders. So far - great experience!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They thought of everything with this camera! Set-up was simple and quick and the WiFi connection is strong and seems reliable. Images are sent directly to my phone and the picture quality is excellent and gives you a wide view. Also, we didn't want the siren and it was super easy to disable. Home just feels safer now.
