I recently purchased a Health Pro Plus from IQAir. I keep my purifier in my bedroom and living room because that’s where I spend the most time, and I can already tell the difference of the air quality based on my sleeping patterns, energy, and health. But, I wanted quantifiable data to assure my purifier is actually making a difference to the air in my home. That’s why I purchased the AirVisual Pro (AVP), it connects to my WiFi at home and gives me real time data on my AQI, humidity, and CO2. When I set up the AVP it notified me that the AQI in my city was 37 and the AQI in my living room was 25. I manually turned my Health Pro Plus on and within minutes my AQI in my living room dropped to 8. I was able to connect my AVP to the AirVisual app so I can track the air quality in my home even when I am away. It’s extremely helpful and gives me a forecast of air quality to help me plan my outdoor activities. The monitor also suggest when the outdoor air is fresher and when I should open the door to ventilate the indoor space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product, few weaknesses

I've been using the AirVisual Pro for a couple months now to measure indoor air quality. By and large, the measurements that I've been able to check with other devices (esp. temperature, humidity, less directly AQI) proved fairly accurate. I've found it useful for indoor managing air quality and for reacting to outdoor air pollution. It's easy to set up and use. It also looks good.
There are only a few negative points: -The device is a bit overpriced -The battery only lasts a couple hours (long enough for most power outages, though) -The screen always turns back on after power outages, even at night, which is annoying
This unit is pricier than others that I looked at, but the display quality and ease of use make it worth it. It makes a great tabletop or nightstand item, and being able to take it elsewhere on battery power is extremely handy. I just wish it had more metrics, and even the "continuous" readings lag a little, but otherwise love this product.

I bought this several months ago. It was a decent device until recently CO2 analyzer got a glitch with readings jumping from 500-1,000 to 2,000-2,500 range even though there were no obvious or significant changes in heating or weather conditions.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there,
Thank you for leaving us your feedback.
We’d love a chance to investigate the spike in carbon dioxide that you experienced while using your AirVisual Pro, but we need a bit more information.
Did you have a large number of people in your home during this carbon dioxide spike? People and animals exhale carbon dioxide as a natural function of respiration, so if you had many guests over and your living spaces had insufficient air exchange with the outdoors, the carbon dioxide level could have spiked.
We’d love to learn more about the factors that may have contributed to this spike. Feel free to give us a call at (888) 560-1020, M-F, 8am – 4:30pm PST.
We look forward to hearing from you!

I bought this several months ago and glad I did as I am able to monitor the air quality in my condo. I like the large display showing the air quality inside and outside and how it cycles from through the settings. Also, I like the battery power as it allows me to move the device to different rooms and quickly see the air quality levels. Also, the coaching is a nice touch to let me know when it is safe to open the windows. Use this all the time and it's a very nice addition to my home.

This monitor provides the air quality index for inside and outside air. It has inside and outside temperature readings, inside humidity, inside carbon dioxide level with a graph showing these levels for the past 12 hours. Different screen views which highlight the information that is most important to you are available. A screen saver option is provided. The User Manual is easy to read and has valuable information about pollution and carbon dioxide. The app has local and world wide air quality index information. I highly recommend this product if you are concerned about your inside air and the air quality of your area and the world.
Great monitor! I can set bathroom exhaust fan timer to keep our C02 levels where they need to be. Lets me know when to open windows (or turn up air purifiers if pollen counts are high) by giving me up to date indoor air quality ratings. When it's time to go for my walk, I can quickly check outside air quality before I go. Humidity reading tells me if it's time to turn on A/C or dehumidifier as well.
While this device only checks outdoor Air Quality from IQ Air sensors, it turns out that we have 3 sensors in town, and one is just a few blocks away! It's good to see the prediction for future air quality, it reminds us if we should close up the windows overnight.
