Keeps Food Cold and Fresh

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this refrigerantor for over almost two months. The refigerator and freezer keep the foods cold or frozen as it should. The stainless steel exterior seems to be decent in keeping clean, just have to wipe down occasionally. It is a bit on the noisy side when the motor kicks on. I has a hum most of the day, but after awhile it just becomes white noise. Once in awhile it will make drop sound but it doesn't seem to affect the function. Only time will really tell. My last refrigerator lasted 17 yrs.

Hi, Robven!
Thank you for sharing your experience. We're glad the refrigerator is working well for you! Works great, always runs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owned it a few weeks now. 2-3 years ago we bought just about the cheapest fridge we could and were never really happy with it's size or temperature regulating performance. This one is MUCH larger and does a MUCH better job of maintaining temperature than our previous fridge, but it is also more than double the price.
So, the good: seems to do a great job maintaining temp. It holds a ton of food. The lights fading on when opening the door is pretty neat.
The bad: The door ajar alarm needs to be 5x louder. Unless you're in the same room you'll never hear it. A problem we had was during the initial air line purge and water fill cycles of the ice maker, somehow the funnel type thing that directs the water into the ice cube tray completely froze over such that the next time it tried to fill the ice trays instead water went everywhere and froze. This happened overnight. So at 7 in the morning when i went to look for the first ice cubes in our new fridge, I had a large frozen mess, which resulted in some minor disassembly to remove and thaw the funnel. No idea why it blinded over, though.
The strange: It runs constantly, which is taking some getting used to. The noises it makes change regularly. This is apparently standard. Imagine never being in a silent kitchen... well to me, it's weird.

Buyers Remorse Big Time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the worst appliance I have ever had. The fridge portion freezes foods if food is too far in the back. It is so noisy with clicks and whines and loud buzzing. The freezer compartment has wasted space making it very small. The only things I like about it is the lighting on the inside and the smudge free exterior finish. But I’ll never buy a Fridigaire appliance again.

Hello Sweetsassy.
Thank you for the feedback. We consider all of the comments on reviews when planning future production. We can recommend adjusting the temperature slightly so that items in the front at not freezing. Produce or delicate items could freezer towards the back as the cold air inlets are there.
Should you need assistance or have questions in the future, our Live Chat Team is available on Frigidaire.com or you may call 1- 800-374-4432 Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 8pm (EST).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The plastic sheeting protective cover that comes on it is still stuck in creases because you can’t get it off. The Front of the shelves in the doors Are too short so every time you open or close the doors, what Evers in there tips over. Ice machine is very noisy and some times when I open the freezer, ice cubes come out underneath it on my wood floor which makes me wonder about ones that don’t shoot out under the door, are there any? Are they underneath the frig melting on my wood floor? When opening the freezer it makes a loud clunking/cracking sound.

Hi, Tamidee!
We appreciate you stopping by to share your feedback and concerns with us.
Please know that it’s important to us that our customers are more than satisfied and your feedback does not go unnoticed for continuous improvement.
We understand that removing the protective plastic from your refrigerator can be tedious. A lot of our consumers have found that using warm water and mild soap with a soft cloth can certainly help to alleviate the removal of the protective plastic.
However, we would like to properly address you other concerns to ensure your freezer is performing as designed.
At your convenience, please chat with us by going to www.frigidaire.com or call us at 1-800-374-4432 Monday-Friday 8:30 am-8 pm EST.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice machine make a loud noise when it fills up. I've already had to call for maintenance. It's making very loud noise from the compressor
Response from frigidaire.comBy Briana, Online Outreach Specialist, May 27, 2020
Hello, Heather1208! Thank you for your review. We sincerely apologize for your experience with your refrigerator. With your new appliance, modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. These are all normal sounds and soon will become familiar to you. The sounds indicate your appliance is operating as designed. Hard surfaces, such as vinyl or wood floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make sounds more noticeable. Should you need further assistance, please feel free to chat with us online or contact us via phone at 800-374-4432 M-F, 8:30 am- 8:00 pm. ~Briana

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small imperfections that I would think a new unit would not have. Makes some weird louder noises sometimes. Freezer door track will have to get looked at, snaps and feels like it’s going to break when you open the it.
