Functional design but way too NOISY!!!

I really like the layout although the bottom long drawer in the fridge part comes off track easily and is a real pain to get back in place. Mostly I am very disappointed with the noises this refrigerator makes. Constant popping, gurgling, knocking and seldom silent it drives me crazy. From reading other reviews I know the manufacturer says noises are normal, surrounding floors and cabinets can contribute, etc. I have been in other people’s houses where they have similar cabinetry and flooring but a different manufacturer and their fridges are not nearly as noisy. Also, the temperature is not accurate. Everything was freezing at the back when it was set to factory setting and yes I made sure nothing was blocking the vents in the tower. There was actually ice forming on the tower vents. I have the fridge temperature set at 41F in order to keep it from freezing. I would not buy this fridge or this brand again. I also have the gallery ceramic top stove and it is utterly disappointing as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the smudge proof stainless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having the smudge proof feature is a lifesaver especially with three young grandkids. We adjusted shelves according to our needs and it’s plenty big enough. Having built in ice maker is a great feature we never had before.

The Perfect One!

I wanted a classic look for my new kitchen and one without the water dispenser. I also wanted a counter-depth refrigerator which is not easy to find. My new Frigidaire has met and exceeded all my expectations. It is smart-looking and has all the features I needed in my new kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Food in back half of refrigerator section will freeze. All shelves are "guilty". covered drawers are OK. Moving "set" temperature any warmer than 39º leaves the front half and doors too warm. I plan on setting up some sort of foam "buffers" in front of cold air outlets, but that is simply compensating for poor design.

Delicate items too close to the back vents may freeze, particularly if they or other nearby objects are blocking the airflow from spreading to the rest of the cabinet. Loud in every way

We ordered this twice and still doesn't work

We ordered this and all our food on top shelves freeze even when we put the temperature up. You sent us a second one and have had two weeks and its doing the same thing...Not happy at all.

The refrigerator pumps in cold air from the vent at the top of the refrigerator, after which the air will naturally spread to the lower parts of the cabinet to cool the entire space. However, if you have a lot of items clustered on the top shelf around the vent, the air may get trapped in freezing pockets around these items. We would recommend rearranging items on the top shelf to allow for better airflow, and to keep delicate items away from the direct air. Noisiest fridge ever

Bought just under a year ago and since new makes shockingly loud noises constantly but generally runs quietly and maintains proper temperatures. I attribute that to the new energy saving features but I would not buy this model again.
