Very good but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 11 months ago and am generally happy with performance. The only ongoing problem is that foods freeze in back of top shelf, even though temperature is set at 39 degrees in refrigerator section.

Aside from the great features, it is very sleek looking, easy to clean inside and the outside doors.

Every time we pass by the kitchen, we say to each other how happy we are that we bought this particular Frigidaire refrigerator. We are considering replacing our three other kitchen appliances with the Frigidaire Gallery product line.

Don't buy this, non usable as it freezes the food

Bought this in June to replace another Electrolux that has continued to work for years. This new Frigidaire unit is unusable. It freezes food on all shelves and you literally have to put in only a few items at the very front of the refrig or you have to load everything into a tub on a shelf so it doesn't freeze. Also the design is so poor as the shelves are too close together. If you live by yourself you might be able to get away with using this otherwise its non functional. I have wasted too much money on throwing out fresh food that has gone mushy because it is half frozen and thawed. Awful experience. It's a lemon and I wish I had seen the issue with frozen food.

Ice Maker horrible

The ice maker will quits working for days. We have had to buy a portable ice maker for when it is not working. Then starts working again. There is a "quick ice" feature that does nothing at all. When opening the freezer the ice jumps out and you have to get something to sweep the ice cubes out from the bottom of the freezer onto the floor. If you dont realize there is an ice cube at the bottom of the freezer the drawer will not close all the way and then the freezer freezes up. It makes VERY loud popping noises and you can hear the water draw from the other side of the house
