Excellent Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge was included in our new house purchase and we couldn't be happier. This is our second French Door w/ bottom freezer and we love it. One of the best things about this fridge are the rubber mats that sit in the door shelves - makes cleaning them a breeze!

Don't buy this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freezer door not level & is not adjustable. Bottom basket in freezer far more difficult to remove than manual states. Even harder to alain back in. Upper freezer shelf so small it has little purpose but to take up space. I know these issues in freezer as I've had to defrost it. That's because after a power surge it does not power back on for a long time. How long? Don't know, reset it prior to auto but not soon enough to prevent icing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well it seems to be a bit inconsistent in temperature but you have to be very careful about not putting anything too close to the bilateral venting system that runs the length of the machine. I like my milk in the body of the fridge but the shelves are about 1/8 in too close so you have to tip the bottle to get it out rather that just slide it out. There are lots of shelves and door room but not room to put a watermelon and a jug of milk together without removing a shelf. The deli drawer doesn't seem to be made as sturdy as the crisper drawers. The veg/fruit drawers are why I bought this fridge as they are well made and a bit larger in comparison to other brands.

Breaks in the first few months of usage, with a joke warranty process

I have a whole home full of frigidaire products, with only 1 breaking, so I had great confidence in this fridge, considering it is one of the top of the line fridges out there. However, I was wrong. The refrigerator has stopped cooling for about a month now, and the warranty process is outrageous. Its unbelievable to not have fresh milk at the ready for our newborn for almost a month because our fridge won't cool anything.

Poorly engineered

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My brand new French door refrigerator gave me trouble from the start. The filter for the ice maker leaks when it is filling to make cubes. It is installed properly, not under Frigidaire’s warranty, but will not function without leaking, therefore I buy my ice till I can get it fixed. Also the door mullion will not stay properly seated no matter how much I adjust it., If someone, other than a family member opens or closes the door, air escapes due to the mullion not working . Condensation accumulates on the door and it becomes very inefficient . I would not recommend this item. It looks great, but doesn’t function properly

Nice refrigerator but it has a design flaw with the automatic ice maker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this recently and found that when the ice bucket fills up that every time you slide out the drawer the ice cubes spill over the back of the bucket and slide out onto the kitchen floor. We had the repair service out but there is no repair for this currently. It is really annoying as you have to remember to turn off the automatic ice maker before it fills the ice bucket so that you keep the cubes low enough in the bucket to the metal arm doesn't push the cubes over the back of the bucket spilling them down the back of the refrigerator.
