Everything is fine so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the ease with which you can turn off the ice maker. We don't use a lot of ice, so I turn it off when the bin is full (just lift the wire lever). I like the very bright lighting in the fridge and freezer. The fridge has a ton of door space, so the shelves aren't so cluttered like our last fridge (an old freezer-on-top model).
The unit is pretty quiet running. Periodically I hear water flowing into the ice maker---that is a bit loud, but not terribly. It doesn't happen that often for us since we don't use a lot of ice.
The shelves are nicely adjustable. The meat tray goes all the way across the inside so you have to open both doors to get inside it. I think I would have liked a meat tray that was half width that I could move around---like a shelf, but this is a small complaint. The door ajar alarm is a very nice feature, but it could be a bit louder. We started hearing a beeping sound and it took us a while to finally figure out where is was coming from and what it was. Since the freezer is a drawer, it is not as convenient as a side by side. I often have to go rummaging through the drawer to find what I am looking for. My wife likes to freeze home-made soups. Putting the soup bowls in the freezer is not always easy.
All and all, we are very pleased with the unit. It looks nice and it fits in a small space in a smaller kitchen.

Consistently cold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old refrigerator failed internally. This new one shows electronic temperature of both compartments and if there’s any temperature rise so I’ll know if there’s a problem before finding melted spoiled food.

Modern Sleek Design
