Avoid: Freezer won't seal completely,

I've had this freezer for almost 3 years. The freezer won't seal in the top center even though the sides appear to seal. Therefore, it runs LOUDLY continuously.
Not happy!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Yikes! DrMcCann, I can understand how the freezer drawer not sealing correctly can be a source of frustration for you. The door gasket should be evenly compressed all the way around the freezer drawer. If the gap is caused from the gasket being compressed more in that area, use low heat carefully to warm the gasket (a blow dryer on low perhaps). Warming the gasket will help it to “plump” back into shape. Please see page 9 in your Owner’s manual for freezer drawer removal. The lower freezer basket may be installed incorrectly, preventing the door from completely closing. There are 4 slide holders (two on each side) on the slide that the basket rests on (there is a slight picture in the lower circle on page 9). On the basket there are 2 basket “hooks” on the underside of the basket on each side (no picture in the manual for this one), they look like rectangle shaped indentations in the basket (before it flares out). Please make sure these hooks are securely seated in the slide holders. I hope this helped! Glad we purchased this model!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator suited our particular need for a lower profile model in our galley kitchen. We were also impressed with it's functions as well as the quality of the shelving and it's flexibility. Although some reviews were less than glowing, I am of the opinion that less satisfied people are typically more vocal than those who are pleased with their purchase. So it's human nature that we see a lower percentage of satisfied customers' reviews. We decided the brand name and the affordable price point were worth taking a chance. And so far we're very glad we did! . Even though everyone recommends NOT to purchase them, our retailer offered a partially refundable (if you don't need to use it) service warranty that we purchased as a safety net. Bottom line is we have been happy with our decision to purchase this product and it is working as described. There were some complaints about noise- and there is some, but it is tolerable and seems to just be the appliance working to perform it's functions. We are very satisfied, and would highly recommend this product.

The doors do not shut properly. In particular the right door needs to be double checked to ensure that it is shut.

Oh no! I hate to hear of your door closing frustration, Rajkarne. The installer should have ensured the refrigerator had a slight pitch front to back (the front should be slightly higher than the rear), to assist in ease of closure. Page 6 in your Owner’s Manual addresses how to adjust the doors, and how to achieve the needed slant to assist with door closing. If the flipper mullion needs adjusting, the instructions are on page 7 in your Owner’s Manual.
