[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Several years ago we remodeled our kitchen in our previous house and we installed an induction cooktop. I loved cooking on an induction cooktop. When we moved into this new home it had only an electric cooktop and I fussed every time I cooked. We made the decision to get an induction cooktop and selected the Frigidaire model based on reviews and price. Couldn't be happier. It was very easy installation, by husband installed it..

I've always had gas cook-tops and was ruining all our food on the electric one that was in our new house when we moved in. Now that I've switched to this induction one, I'm back in the good food groove.

I LOVE this cooktop

I have always been a "gas only" girl in the kitchen. But since I discovered induction, I will never go back to gas. Let me tell you why.
1. No ambient heat -In the southwest, the kitchen is often the hottest place in the house. induction cooktops transfer heat directly from the source to the pot.
2. Total control - As with gas, you get the ability to precisely control the temperature. Also, when you turn the heat off, the heat transfer stops cold.
3. Easy clean up - No more burners to scrub. Just wipe with a wet cloth and a bit of glass cleaner.

great heat control

very impressed. I like cooking meals that take up many burners at once. I've used gas, electric and now induction and I do love the heat settings for these induction burners. I can boil water very quickly and the heat settings provide exact heat control.

Better than Gas

We have had two kitchen remodels in our two homes. This is the SECOND induction cooktop. We love it. It gets hot immediately after I put the pan on the burner. It cools down quickly, which means there's not a lot of heat emittingI in my kitchen on those hot days. It is so easy to clean; no burn trays or coils to mess with.
It is a bit higher price but I recommend it if you can swing it.

Intuitive to use!

We got an induction top at the suggestion of my mother in law. We picked this one because of all the positive reviews, which in my opinion, have held up. I love that it has a keep warm and timer feature. All of it is intuitive to use. We've never had to pull out the instruction manual to figure out how to use it. I highly recommend this to someone looking for an induction cook top. It was also very affordable on our new homeowner budget.

Easy clean up!

I've had my range top for about a month and a half and was not sure when I bought it if I would like it but so far I love it. The only thing I didn't like is having to buy some new cookware.

I've had it for 3 mos. big change from gas stove. Much faster heat up from anything I've ever had. Still getting used to what setting I need for certain groups kinds of cooking. Easy to clean as long as you find the right thing to clean it with and wait til it cools completely. I use the Weiman cooktop daily cleaner spray and paper towel unless I have a major burned on event. I did already get a few small scratches on the glass from someone sitting a rough pot on my cooktop. So bummed out over that. It makes a weird buzz sound at high heat levels that I have learned to get used to but alarms others when they hear it. The cooktop does get hot despite the commercial showing it not melting ice. I like it overall but I'm not convinced it was worth the huge price tag. Im sure in time the issues I listed will improve and more competition will cause the price to come down which will make the purchase more worth it that is is right now. It does look awesome in my newly renovated kitchen and I get plenty of inquiries about it since everyone is researching this newest technology .
