3 Normal Burners, 1 Weak One

I would have given this appliance 5 stars except for the fact that the lower right burner does not heat as quickly or as well as the other three. The technician who we called to service the cooktop said that it was working fine. We just needed a bigger pan. I purchased a larger pan to test this theory, and got the same low-power result. The burner does work, but not as well as the others.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super Fast Heating

For the most part we are very happy with this cooktop. It looks amazing, heats quickly, and is very easy to clean. Our one complaint is the largest burner (on the bottom right). It does not heat up as quickly as the others, and seems to put out less power in general. The repairman said that I need to use a larger pan....apparently even my big square pancake griddle isn't large enough to form a proper connection. I am a bit skeptical, and plan to purchase a larger induction-friendly pan so that I can test it out before the warranty expires.

Great induction cooktop

I've been using this induction cooktop for 3 months now and absolutely love it. Works as it should -- rapid response to temperature adjustments, thick pans heat up quickly, water boils super fast with the power booster (in less than half the time it took with my former radiant cooktop). The power levels available are sufficient to give me good control of precise cooking temps. Safety feature, warmer and timer work well. Touch pads are incredibly sensitive, so a light touch will do. Surface cleans very easily. I only wish the largest burner can accommodate my 13 inch pan better. It works, but I notice that food along the edges of the large pan do not simmer like food in the middle. Having grown up using gas stoves, personally, I'd still prefer induction.

Fast.....

I LOVE my new Frigidaire Induction Cooktop. It's faster than gas and a lot safer to use. In minutes I have boiling water. It cooks the food fast and the stove top is so easy to clean up. The induction pots and pans are the same price as the regular pots and pans to buy. I would highly recommend using an induction cooktop over gas any day.

Love to cook

Awesome cooking experiences! I've been cooking on this cooktop for 6-months now and I can't find a thing to complain about. I love to cook and this makes it an even more enjoyable experience. The only caution I would give is that you can't putter around and multi-task too much while cooking because it heats/cooks so fast. I've had to learn to boil water all over again (for boiled eggs)...my first batch burst in the pan because I wasn't paying attention and the water boiled so quickly. I would give 10 stars if I could! Highest recommendation for the brand and features. Cleanup couldn't possibly be easier either...no knobs to get in the way. I LOVE!

Gas No More

We've always had a gas cooktop installed, but my wife wanted something safer for our children (5 and 3) after coming home to a burner left on by a babysitter. Needless to say, I was skeptical of anything electric coming close to the convience of gas. I was wrong. This cooktop not only has all the safety features my wife wanted, but it has precise temperture control that I need. It boils a pot of water in no time, even faster than my old gas unit.
