[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I selected this during our appliance options with our new home purchase. It's nice and large and covers the cooktop very well. It's mounted but appears a little loose. I'm waiting on the contractor to check it out.

Very Loud

We just moved into our new house. The first time we used the range hood we couldn't believe how loud the hood is. You can not even carry on a conversation in the kitchen when it is on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This hood is the focal point of my great room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hood was installed a 3 weeks ago over the island that was the center of our remodel. I like the fact that because the hood border is glass, it takes up less visual space. The LED lights are classy .We have had many complements on our Frigidaire Hood.

Perfect vent for an island

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vent is fantastic and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I have mine over an island cooktop and although it can get loud, I’d prefer a little noise than having any smoke/steam hit my ceiling... that would be far worse to clean!

had problems almost immediately

bought this 2 years ago. the button control started being intermittent almost right away. Kept using it - I figure no more than 30-40 times at most. Finally stopped working completely - no fan, no lights. Not worth the money
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
