Cheap Cheap Cheap

Had this for about 1 year, and today the plastic container fell apart in my hand....handle just came right off, little screws that were attached to plastic parts broken....so cheaply made. AVOID
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst experience ever

The food processor started smoking the very first time I used it. I unplugged it and the next day when plugged it in it wasn't working anymore. No luck with the customer service phone number provided on the website. Tried the live chat and it's been more than a week that I'm waiting for a specialist to call me. Very unsatisfied with the product and the customer service.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not build to last longer

Bought this less than 2 years ago, was doing OK so far but suddenly broke down. Was not expecting this only last for that short period. Checked videos online and found that there is some known issue with this brand and model

My Second KitchenAid Food Processor

I had my first KitchenAid food processor for over 10 years, and really liked it. It still works, but I wanted a bigger, more improved model. I love my new model. Its so easy to use, and has features some more expensive food processors do not, like a low speed, and handy storage inside the unit. It chops evenly and quickly, and is easy to clean. I hope it lasts me for many years.

I purchased the 9 cup food processor 3 days ago. I tried to use it to make biscuits. The motor stopped in the 3rd pulse. Then the lid cracked when it was dropped. Such a disappointment from such a good quality mixer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A great example of design and safety

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The food processor is something I didn’t realize I needed until I did. Over the years I have had a few processors and never really used them. But as I became a little more adventuresome, I realized that I needed both a processor and a good one. It is spacious and about as much of a surprise as one could want. It even kneads dough! And the bread from that dough was excellent. But it is also so diversified that it only took minutes to mix a a pesto sauce fit for a king or queen as the case may be. It is smartly designed with safety in mind. Most importantly, it is as easy to use as it is to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!
