The third 9 cup food processor is on its way. Two replacements. Stalled motor making pastry, pizza dough. Totally froze. Disappointed. All other features worked well w/o issue up to that point. Used: 6+ times/2 times.
I've had this for about 6 months and have used it a few times mostly to make cauliflower rice. Unfortunately after 1 month of use, the right toggle on the lid snapped off when I was simply attaching the lid back onto the bowl as directed in the user manual. At first, I thought that this was somehow user error and was able to still fasten this to the bowl. So I shrugged it off as my bad. But just recently I pulled the lid out of the dishwasher (top shelf) and saw that the other toggle has completely snapped off. Clearly this is due to the quality of the plastic. At this point, I'm going to be forced to try and purchase a replacement lid after only 6 months of light use. I've been a Kitchen Aid fan for a while, and love my other kitchen aid products that have stood the test of time. It's just very sad that this product doesn't meet the same standards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know how I lived without this before! We frequently have a big salad for dinner with a protein. I use this to shred Brussel sprouts, peppers &carrots, slice mushrooms, cucumbers, celery & tomatoes. A bit of shredded cheese on top and I have our salads made in 5 minutes (compared to 30 minutes of hand chopping). I LOVE it for shredding frozen butter to add to my biscuits and pie crusts. It is a dream for preparing fresh salsa, pesto and hummus. Not only has this saved me time in the kitchen, but we are eating better than ever because of it! Oh and the best part is this size fits perfectly on my counter under the upper cabinets without taking up too much space, so it is very easy and convenient to use. Thank you KitchenAid!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this food processor a couple of weeks ago. So far I have used two different functions - grated carrots and diced veggies. They both came out great. And the cleanup/assembly is very easy...
I bought this 9 cup food processor by accident about 6 months ago. I thought I was buying the upgraded 9 cup version. I really wanted not to like it, but to my surprise it really performs well. The pulse function yields a very uniform result even when you pack it a bit too full. It also does quite well at slicing and shredding. The only drawback I've found is that it tends to collect food just under the lip of the lid when using the shoot. Also, the tube doesn't lock into the shoot so if you are not careful it will fall out and slide across the room when you are taking the lid off the base.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The food processor is something I didn’t realize I needed until I did. Over the years I have had a few processors and never really used them. But as I became a little more adventuresome, I realized that I needed both a processor and a good one. It is spacious and about as much of a surprise as one could want. It even kneads dough! And the bread from that dough was excellent. But it is also so diversified that it only took minutes to mix a a pesto sauce fit for a king or queen as the case may be. It is smartly designed with safety in mind. Most importantly, it is as easy to use as it is to clean.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been a big fan of KitcheAid and this Food Processor is truly amazing. My husband absolutely loves it. My daughter makes pancakes for the family so she can use it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought the 9 cup processor 1 month ago. The agent on the phone was very helpful with making the right choice. I have always had KitchenAid Food Processors, my last one lasted many years. I love the fact that the base is lighter then the previous models, and that the work bowl has a better sealing mechanism then the previous models as well. I make my own tomato sauce weekly , it purees the tomatoes effortlessly to a nice smooth texture. I have made dough for homemade bread as well and it handles kneading very well also. Very happy I decided to purchase this food processor.
