[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was time to replace the processor my grandmother had given me which still worked, but it was time to move on. We upgraded to this and OMG! Why did I wait so long lol. Awesome is the word that comes to mind when describing this machine. Just Wow!

Excellent Food Processor

In just the 2 weeks that I have owned it I have made Graham Cracker crumbs for my cheesecake, Hummus, as well as Salsa Verde. With the power and capacity I need and fairly quiet when in operation. You can't go wrong with this appliance.

Not like the one I used 20 years ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t like how you can’t twist it to turn on and twist off. Also, when I make dough it doesn’t incorporate in the corners like my old one. And at thanksgiving I dropped the pusher that goes in the lid and a corner of it chipped off bad enough that I now can not use the pusher. Really disappointing that the plastic isn’t stronger. I will have to save and attempt to find a restaurant quality version later.

Best Food Processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an old (other brand) food processor. It was so heavy and so I rarely used it because of the nuisance of taking it out when I needed it. This processor, on the other hand, is perfect!! Very light weight compared to my old one. It is slender and counter top appropriate. And as for performance, just what you would expect from KitchenAid!! Need I say more???

I bought it 3 weeks ago and it makes a horrid shrieking noise that scares my kids and my dog. Here’s a video making hummus. I’m not straining it. I’m going to return it.

Surprisingly good results!

I bought this 9 cup food processor by accident about 6 months ago. I thought I was buying the upgraded 9 cup version. I really wanted not to like it, but to my surprise it really performs well. The pulse function yields a very uniform result even when you pack it a bit too full. It also does quite well at slicing and shredding. The only drawback I've found is that it tends to collect food just under the lip of the lid when using the shoot. Also, the tube doesn't lock into the shoot so if you are not careful it will fall out and slide across the room when you are taking the lid off the base.
