I originally purchased the Jackery 550 as a backup to my existing 5,000W gas generator. I decided to purchase this as a layer of protection in case there was a fuel shortage, or in case there was inflation and I could not afford to buy fuel. I also wanted something "Renewable," because I can use my SolarSaga 100W Solar Panel to recharge it. Also, while my gas generator is technically "portable," the Jackery is far more portable. It's also better at night as it doesn't annoy the neighbors (or myself).
However, the thing I did NOT know when purchasing the Jackery was how much I would love using it! I used the Jackery for running my section of my town's "Haunted Trail," as well as our annual Halloween Festival. I used it to power a large stereo (it's difficult to see, but it's under the table in my picture). The speaker has lights on it that shined through the black Halloween fabric at the bottom of the table. I also used the Jackery to power a fog machine, as well as other lighting, while charging my phones and using my iPhone to "DJ" for the event.
I plan to purchase a larger unit in the future and next year have TWO Jackery units so that I can expand my setup and create a more elaborate display. So while the unit is not visible in this photo, it was being used for Music, Fog, Lights, Recharging iPhones, and more. It would also be great for Birthday Parties, Christmas Celebrations, Summer (Beach/Lake) Activities, and much more.
So while I thought I was getting this for a home backup, it's proven to be far more useful than I originally intended. Also, just for the record, this thing powered my 42" 1080p HDTV, PS4 PRO (while playing Mortal Kombat 11), a lamp, and two box fans for a good deal of time. I am very impressed at the versatility as well as the ease-of-use of this product. It is very intuitive and it's super easy to use. You do not have to be an "Electrician" or "IT Professional" to use this product. Jackery has made it incredibly simple and fun! (:

I recently purchased the 550 and 100w solar panels. Both arrived packaged perfectly and without damage. Based upon the reviews and blogs it was difficult to know the power usage for my CPAP, which is a ResMed 10. I charged the 550 and used it for seven hours without the humidity and heat being used. The power loss was only 27%. Next I applied the heat and humors

I recently purchased the 550. It arrived nicely packaged and no damage. I purchased the unit to use camping with a ResMed 10 CPAP. I tested the unit without heat or humidity and the ResMed only used 27% after 7 hrs. I tested again using heat and humidity and it only used 46%. Perfect for my needs. The Zackery service team are wonderful! They responded to multiple email questions and in a timely manner. Very pleased with the 550 and 100W solar panels.

The jackery 550 is great. Operating it is simple. Only had it for three weeks, already paying for itself. Love the lite weight. Wish the ports had covers to keep sand and debris out. Overall 👍👍

It automatically shuts down in 10 hours if the draw is less than 10 watts.
What good is it if it shuts down?

I bought the 550 +100w solar panel for my son who always has his portable tv/dvd player and a fan when we travel and for power outages. This 550 is the best, hands down. Used it for 4 days and only dropped down to 70 percent. Running nonstop. Charging overnight while he slept.
I'm thinking about getting myself one here soon. Need something for the duel zone fridge freezer I'm getting.
I've recommended these to everyone I know who camps with us. So we don't have to keep listening to their generators. Lol.

I bought a 880W unit w/solar panels last August '21. I have now bought my 2nd 880W unit. I've used my unit 3x's during power outages. Worked great. It powered my 750W hot plate, lamp & radio. My new unit w/b used for my upright freezer and a lamp in the basement & upstairs my other unit for my refrigerator, light & radio. Easy to carry (22 lb) and love that its portable. Highly recommend Jackery for power backups!
