Bought my jackery 550 and solar panel on the uk launch day. I have a micro camper so wanted something powerful, but easy to install myself. Well you cant get any easier just plug n play. Love it so much. Now i can go away and not worry because i know my jackery kit is on board, that’s my emergency service to myself. Charge at home before i go. But can charge in car on journey. Looooooove my jackery.

showed up very quick , well packaged , quality appears very good . just used it camping this weekend ,
ran my cpap Philips REMstar 4 nights , still had 50% left , I'm sure I could get 6 ? 7 days out of it . Very happy so far.

We purchased the Jackery Explorer 880 with two 100 watt solar panels to use camping and for emergencies. We cannot be more satisfied with this purchase. Most campgrounds have time restrictions for gas generator usage so this is perfect. We plug our camper into the Jackery and receive free clean electricity. This product created quite the buzz last week on its initial trip last week camping. I highly recommend this product.

Love this unit, easy to operate/charge and use. Provides all the power I need, and usage window is easily readable, plus lightweight to carry. Quality product all the way around. I use it in my trailer to power the television and satellite dish, without draining my battery, plus other items. It is versatile and easy to take anywhere, plus, I like the many recharge options. Top notch quality, I definitely would buy it again!

Meets our needs for a portable intermittment AC Power supply for emergency use and light continuous loads, ie. less than 50 W for 24 hr. power outages.
Intermittent loads =less than:
-100 W, 20% duty cycle over a 24 hour period.
-400 W, 10% duty cycle over a 24 hour period.
-600 W. 5% duty cycle over a 24 hour period.

Just as important, seems to a good quality battery. Self discharge rate is less than 2% / month stored indoors at 65-75 deg F. so it is readily available for use as needed if charge condition checked monthly. Important for medical devices.
Summary: all around good product, meets our needs for an emergency AC power source to supplement , but not replace a portable gas generator especially if our cached without the solar panels.

A suggestion: the AC power charging power supply should be integral with the unit. It would be more convenient to have it more readily available as needed rather than loosely contained in a separate bag that can become separated from the unit.

I recently purchased a second Jackery Explorer 880 Portable Power Station since I liked the first one so much. I have a portable refrigerator for car trips and camping and wanted a second Jackery 880 to power it while the car was off. Since one Jackery is inside my camper for brewing coffee and other electrical needs I wanted one to stay with the portable refrigerator. Since we camp in Bear country a lot, the refrigerator needs to be kept in the campsite bear box. The Jackery 880 is able to power the fridge for several days and keep all of my food and beverages cold. Thank you Jackery for making exceptional products!

Charges much more quickly with solar that I had expected. I have both the 500 and the 880. I would definitely recommend the 880. It seems to be more efficient.

The Jackery 550 is a wonderful product. It, does exactly as described on the Jackery website, is easy use, and i can't find any flaws with the product. I primarily use the Jackery 550 to power small appliances during the power outages that happen several times a year in the small and rural northern California town where i live, but a i also take the product with me on road/camping trips in my car. The only improvement to the product (if possible) would be a hand crank to help recharge the product - i have a solar lantern with a handcrank which means that light is always available. The Jackery products are not a replacement for a gasoline powered generator, which can power a number of power-hungry appliances such as space heaters, HVAC systems, etc. The Jackery company should be commended for designing and producing a product that makes the lives of human beings better.
