Pop socket does not hold up the phone

I bought this cover as a present for someone as I have a iPhone 7 and have this cover, I love it. So sturdy and the pop socket holds up phone well for watching videos. However, this cover is rubbish for iPhone 11 , it does not hold up the phone by the pop socket. Don’t bother spending the money for bigger phones.

While using that OtterBox as a stand, we usually suggest pulling the PopTop all the way out then angling one side up. This allows you to use the side that's still popped out as the stand for your phone. Additionally, we recommend having the camera-side of your phone down and close to the stable surface.

Oops I did it again!

My phone hits the floor at least once per day. This cover is slimmer than other otter box cases but protects my phone just as well. The only drawback I've found is that the phone won't lie flat with the Pop Button on the back but it's not a deal breaker!

I’ve been a loyal Otterbox customer for years-my phone has always been protected, no doubt.
I’m wondering what steps you guys are taking to make your products recyclable-we are living in a world where Otterbox might lose customers as a result. I’m just curious, and I appreciate the time you’re taking to read and I respond!

Not Such a great Product

I’ve gotten one phone case this color and two others different colors but same design and all three of them had a crack in the middle under the pop socket all the way down the bottom. The purple one had a crack starting that I didn’t notice when I bought it but noticed as soon as I pulled it out of the box. The other two had a very slight dents when I pulled them out but those dents turned into cracks within a few days. Also let it be known I hadn’t dropped my phone when I noticed those cracks. I’m now searching for a different design of pop cases because of such problems. I unfortunately forgot to take photos of one of them I had bought but here are two of them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

not a good grip case

I like the looks of the marble case with popsocket. My hands arent the greatest so with the case being so smooth...it does slip from my hand especially when pulling out of my purse. Thought there would be a better grip on the case to keep it from sliding from my hand.

I love Pop Sockets but hate how they stick out and you can’t lay your phone flat. This case solves that, and protects my phone. I love how it slides easily in my pocket too. You can still change the top out, but I love the mauve color. Worth the price!

Popsocket integration fail

The popsocket is embedded / recessed into the body of the otter box by approx 3-4mm which takes away that space you need in order to comfortably slide your fingers under and around it when it’s popped out. It’s a major design thinking flaw. The recessed popsocket looks cool when shoved into its place, but ergonomically doesn’t work well at all for reason mentioned. They either need the pop base directly on back of otter box as is or need to develop custom popsocket that is longer for recessed flush mount idea.
