I should of waited and tried this case in the store. I like the construction of the case. I can’t charge my new iPhone pro with the case on. I also can’t use it in my car with my magnetic mount. The case is to thick. I like the idea of having a pop socket built it but it is to small for my fingers. Overall I would give it a 4 out of 10.

We're sorry to hear about the frustrations you're experiencing with your Otter + Pop Symmetry Series case. That case should be functioning with Qi charging, but removing the PopTop may lead to the best charging experience. Additionally, we do suggest sticking to the chargers recommended by the device manufacturer or OtterSpot, as those are the chargers we test our cases with.
As for that magnetic mount, we haven't tested our cases with all third-party accessories on the market, so we're not able to guarantee compatibility with everything. We'll be sure to get your feedback passed up the ladder.

I have used the Pop Symmetry series for about a year on my old XS. It is a quality case that not only looks good but allows stability while you are holding the phone (because of the pop socket), and especially because it has such rigid protection. I like the rubber edging and can attest that it has protected my phone from multiple tumbles. I received the new model for my new 11 and it has been on my phone since I unboxed it! They are definitely expensive for a "plastic" case, but they look good and you won't have to buy another case for the life of your phone.

My wife and I both have Symmetry cases on our iPhone 6 and 7, respectively. When she upgraded to the 11 Pro, we wanted the same level of protection without added bulk ...which is where the Symmetry case shines. We didn't even shop other brands/models. She said she wanted something bright, so the "ISLAND OMBRE" it was.

I have had several Symmetry cases over the years for various iPhones, and hands down they stand as my favorite protective, yet slim case. I was hoping to have a great experience with the pop socket case, not because I’m a regular pop socket user, but because I was interested in having a built in option for standing my phone up for videos on the table, and I liked the idea of an additional customizable option. I was bummed when I got this case though, compared to the Symmetry case for my iPhone XS it felt like a shell of that and didn’t seem like it would be very protective at all. It didn’t feel like it had the same structural integrity if you will as the regular Symmetry case. I also had issues charging my phone with a Mophie wireless charger that is sold directly from Apple, which I would expect any normal case I use to work with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you're using that case as a stand, we usually suggest pulling the PopTop all the way out, then pushing down one side. This allows you to use the side that's still popped out as the stand for your phone.
When it comes to wireless charging, you may experience the best results after removing the PopTop. Additionally, you may see a variance in performance between different chargers.

I got this same case for my xs and LOVED it, so when I upgraded, I purchased the same one. I’m not as pleased with the design of this one (which I assume is to accommodate the camera angles.) this is disappointing, because I can’t use it as a stand - which is one of the reasons I bought it, because it tips over :(

When using the built-in PopSocket as a stand, we usually suggest pulling the PopTop all the way out, then angling it up. This allows you to use the side that's still popped out as the stand for your phone. Additionally, we suggest having the camera-side of your phone down and close to the stable surface.

Been wanting a case with a pop socket that is flush. Decided to try this one out. Love it. Case is more shiny and metallic than the photo shows. Has slight green metallic sheen to it in the light, goes well with the new green iPhone pro.
