I’ve been using otter box defenders for years and this was a huge let down. The pop socket was uncomfortable and didn’t support the weight of the phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Case, wishing for cool prints, like Symmetry

I've been using Otterbox Defender cases exclusively for over 10 years. There are rugged & dependable. This is my first pop socket case & so far so good. I like that the pop socket mount comes attached to the case.
The only thing I wish is that they came in a nice selection of prints, like the Otter + Pop Symmetry cases do. The Defender is clearly a better case over the Symmetry. (I like the port covers.)

Not A Big Fan

I love the Otter Box Defender Case but not a big fan of the pop up. For me it doesn’t sit comfortably in my hand gets bothersome at times. Also, I cannot get it to stay up on the pop up like it said in the description. I have since added a different part For holding on to my phone that work better for me. The actual case is wonderful, just wish I could have saved money by not getting the pop. Oh well, lesson learned. I know & see people using it often , that’s why I thought it would work, obviously though, not for me. :(

While using that OtterBox as a stand, we usually suggest pulling the PopTop all the way out then angling one side up. This allows you to use the side that's still popped out as the stand for your phone. Additionally, we recommend having the camera-side of your phone down and close to the stable surface. Sturdy and gives me peace of mind that my IPhone 11 Is definitely protected however I think the pop socket should have been more centered to prevent frequent tipping over when you sit on a surface. I think for the price they should’ve done a better job with that
