I have been an Otterbox or “Otter” for years! The very best and most well made case with exceptional Customer Service just Cannot be Beat! The Defender Series protects my phone so I can not damage it!! I’m tough on phones as I DROP my phone constantly. Packed my phone in a tight compartment unknowingly against another item which made an indentation on the screen protector which was SO Deep ....but the phone screen was never damaged!!!! I was amazed! Love Otter! I will not choose another brand. I’m totally dedicated to Otterbox!!!!!

I’ve been using otterbox cases for my smart phones for the past seven years and this is the best one yet! The only downside is it doesn’t include a screen protector like the other defender cases. But worth it nonetheless!

Have always used Otterbox on all my family's phones. Disappointed in the design of the Iphone 11 pro max this time around tho. The toughness of the case is still there but there is no built in screen protection. Bummer. These also include popsocket on the back which is cool but it prevents wireless charging, you have to take it off for it to charge which is inconvenient. The popsocket also hinders the fit in the holster when mounted screen out again you have to remove the popsocket in order to get it to fit safely in the holster. I use it screen out clipped to my dash in my truck and vibration causes it to pop out with the socket on. May consider something else for my next phone if this issue isn't improved.
This form doesn't allow enough space to enter "what new feature" so I would like to see a defender holster that is compatible with the popsocket screen out and with an incorporated screen protector as in the past. Other cases have done this. I would also like to see a handle bar mount for the defender for my bicycle/motorcycle that has a hard mount rather than an elastic mount that eventually dry rots.

Over thought the purchase. I thought the pop feature would be helpful but tends to get in the way more than anything. Hard to slip in pocket and holster. Best thing is that it is very rugged and durable. I would recommend you purchase the Defender series without the pop feature.
