No Schwab import, back to Turbo Tax for me. After I paid for this, a month down the road I learn there will be no Schwab import, I have 100's of transactions, manual is not a option.
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What happened to HRB?

I’ve used this in the past with a few problems, repeated crashes for example, but nothing too bad. The feature of having tax questions answered by chat and forum were really helpful. This year I could not find any way to get tax questions answered without paying an additional fee or making an appointment for an office visit ($). The software itself was a much more glitchy experience required thinking about work arounds and “what just happened?”. Several instances where totals did not add up correctly. Was very disappointed in the product this year and will seek an alternative. They’re charging more, a glitchy product, and now fee for help with the faulty product.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am glad I bought the new edition this year; the new edition has made it easier for me and ability to save for next year.

Not worth the money

I always purchased HR Block to do my taxes and pay extra so that I can E-file, but this year the E-file wouldn't work do to a glitch in the software so I paid extra money for NOTHING.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In previous years it was possible to download tax documents directly from financial institutions. This year, for some reason, mine were not available - specifically, USAA and Schwab.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

The program would crash frequently. I had to make sure to save with each entry so I wouldn't have to enter all over again.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

Simple, easy to follow interview. Comprehensive (select the correct program) and very useful Deduction Pro app I have been using H&R for more than a decade - always happy with the result!!
